Dina Meyer is an New York native who was raised within Forest Hills Queens. She made the move into Dix Hills Long Island just after she completed her senior high school. Two of her brothers are Gregory, her older brother as well as Evan. Her first exposure to the world of entertainment came as she was modeling at the age of 9 to sixteen. Her career in acting began at The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was a student of the techniques of Sanford Meisner along with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who were trained to this manner and so were Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her first role was in Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to move from Beverly Hills to Los Angeles. After being offered the lead part for Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts herself, she positioned her self as an actor physically fit. Through her agent who also manages Matt LeBlanc she scored a role as a guest star on Friends.
